Patz Celebrates New Product Launch
(Pound, WI) Patz Sales, Inc. celebrated the launch of its newest products at a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 17, 2008 in Pound, WI. The company recently introduced the 810 cubic foot Model 2400 Twin Screw Vertical Mixer and the 1,400 cubic foot Model 3600 Triple Screw Vertical Mixer to the Patz line of feed handling equipment.
Company President Darrell Patz spoke to a gathering of employees and invited guests in front of the two newest mixer models. He reflected on the company's history as Patz Sales, Inc. celebrates its 60th Anniversary.
"After sixty years of many inventions and products, Patz has now produced our largest product, a 1400 cubic foot vertical mixer," stated Patz. He commented on the rapid progress that Patz Sales, Inc. has made since 2002 when the company first entered the vertical mixer market with a much smaller, 300 cubic foot single screw model.
The TMR (Total Mixed Ration) mixer market is extremely competitive with over sixty different manufacturers worldwide. Patz Vertical Mixers are used to blend hay, grains, and a large variety of feedstuffs for cattle. Dairy farmers in particular have seen higher profits due to better milk quality, less feed waste and healthier herds as a direct result of feeding TMR to their cows. Patz Vertical Mixers have quickly earned a reputation for providing a consistent, thoroughly blended ration that has proven to boost the bottom line of small and large farm operations.
During his presentation at the ribbon cutting ceremony, Patz went on to recognize the company's employees for their efforts in designing and producing a quality product. He thanked employees and special guests in attendance.

Invited guests included Patz Dealers who sold the first of each new unit and the customers that purchased them. Ken Lemke and Roger Liebergen of L & L Sales & Service, Inc., a Patz Dealership in Kaukauna, WI, attended the event with Budd Gerrits of Country-Aire Farms in Greenleaf, WI. Country-Aire Farms, the host farm for the 2008 Farm Technology Days, purchased the Model 3600 Triple Screw Vertical Mixer. Ken Hartung of Hartung Sales & Service, Inc., a Patz Dealership in Freeport, MN, attended with David Scapanski of Sauk Rapids, MN. Scapanski purchased the 810 cubic foot Model 2400 Twin Screw Vertical Mixer. Patz District Representatives Kevin Habeck of Maribel, WI, and Robert Buresh of Northfield, MN, were also in attendance. Company employees gave a round of applause to show their appreciation to the invited guests.
Seven employees representing various departments assisted Darrel Patz in the ribbon cutting ceremony. Those employees were: Bob Kaas, Technical Support; Mark Piencikowski, Welding; Brad Korpi, Engineering; Joe Kwiatkowski, Paint/Assembly/Shipping; Teri Peterson, Customer Support; Neil Tappa, Welding; and Bob Gieseler, Sr., Welding.
The guests were treated to lunch served in the company's conference room and a tour of the manufacturing facility prior to the Product Launch Ceremony. Employees were served refreshments and everyone was given a special Wisconsin edition 60th Anniversary Patz hat.
