Patz Employees Kick Off June Dairy Month With New Product Launch
(Pound, WI) Patz Sales, Inc. celebrated the first day of June Dairy Month with an ice cream social and a display of their newest products.
Patz employees were invited to build their own sundae for an afternoon treat on June 1 at the company headquarters in Pound. The company celebrates June Dairy Month as a salute to farmers nationwide who provide a variety of delicious dairy products to consumers. Patz has been partnering with dairy farmers since 1948 when company founder Paul Patz invented and began selling a labor saving gutter cleaner to help ease the task of manure removal from barns.
At the celebration, Patz displayed their three newest products: the Model 800, 270 and 350 cu. ft., Stationary Single Screw Vertical Mixers and the 620 cu. ft. Model 800 Twin Screw Vertical Mixer. President Darrell Patz commended employees for their team effort in producing the latest of eight new products developed and launched by Patz in the last 21 months.
"We've expanded to over 20 different models (of TMR mixers) for our customers to choose from," said Patz. "I'm proud of the efforts of our employees who have helped us bring these products to market."
Employees participating in the ribbon cutting ceremony were: Amy Johnson, Machining/Fabricating; Loren Nelson, Technical Support; Ray Block, Maintenance; Darrell Patz, President; Pat Kallenbach, Welding; Jim Welter, Paint/Assembly/Shipping; Dave Reed, Welding; and Bruce Mergener, Marketing & Sales.
TMR or Total Mixed Ration is a ration in which all feedstuffs are blended together to be fed as one feed, ensuring that all cows receive a balanced diet. Patz mixers are designed to combine large volumes of assorted ingredients into a consistent, thoroughly blended mixture of feed. The Patz mixer product line now includes a wide range of sizes and models to suit small to large farming operations.
